Loan products & templates
EMI and EDI products, started from ready-made per-loan-type templates.
Loan products & templates
A product is a named loan with its own ruleset. Every team ships with two defaults — a Monthly EMI product and a Daily EDI product — and you can create, rename and turn products on or off.
EMI vs EDI is the repayment method, not the product name
EMI (monthly instalments) and EDI (daily collections) are shown as a badge. Name the product for the actual loan — "Unsecured PL", "Gold loan", "Shop Daily".
A monthly-EMI product carries only EMI + shared variables; a daily-EDI product only EDI + shared variables — a product never shows the other loan type's knobs.
Start from a template
New products start from a ready-made per-loan-type template instead of a blank grid. Each template pre-configures the anchors for that loan type; every other rule stays available to tune.
| Template | Type | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Personal — salaried | EMI | FOIR 50%, approve 700; gambling & lending-app → review |
| Personal — self-employed | EMI | FOIR 55%; business inflow + bureau |
| MSME / working-capital | EMI | FOIR 60%, bureau on; vintage & turnover |
| Gold loan | EMI | Lenient bureau; LTV > 75% → review; no income rules |
| Loan against property | EMI | Long tenure, bureau on; LTV > 70% → review |
| Two-wheeler | EMI | Down-payment / on-road LTV, small income check |
| Consumer durable / BNPL | EMI | Small-ticket, bureau-led, first-EMI risk |
| EDI merchant | EDI | Daily UPI/QR sales, daily-collection affordability |
Mandatory safety rules (document-tamper, mule, name-mismatch, unreconciled) are present in every template and can never be switched off.
Choosing the product at upload
The product that scores an analysis is chosen at upload. The report header and the "Rules that fired" card both name the product used.
