Amount tiers

Rule values that change with the requested loan amount.

Amount tiers

A rule value often shouldn't be the same for a ₹50,000 loan and a ₹50,00,000 loan. Any numeric parameter can be tiered by requested amount instead of a single flat value.

How it works

In the rules engine, a numeric parameter has a "by amount" toggle. Turn it on and define bands:

Up to ₹5,00,000 → FOIR 55%
up to ₹20,00,000 → FOIR 50%
& above → FOIR 45%

Each band applies up to its ceiling; the last band is always "& above". At run time the engine picks the band containing the analysis's requested amount (from the loan details) and uses that value.

Safe by default

An un-tiered rule, or a run where no amount was entered, uses the flat value — exactly as before. Tiering changes nothing until you opt a rule into it.

"Use one flat value" clears the bands and returns the rule to a single value.
